Job Summary

As a Kitting and Logistics Support Specialist, this role is responsible for executing product builds based on each customer's PageWide Press requirements. The role is critical to field press upgrade projects and requires a high level of attention to detail, strong inventory management capabilities, knowledge of BOM structures, and effective material management. The role is also involved in a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes within the business unit, supporting readiness, inventory, planning, and logistics teams. It identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational execution while ensuring strict inventory compliance. Clear and effective communication of requirements across multiple business unit teams is essential to the success of this role.



Responsibilities

• Holds responsibility for the readiness, availability and visibility of materials required to meet production schedules and overall demand objectives.

• Establishes and manages kit production and scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking production progress and evaluating factors that impact schedules.

• Collaborates with and, when required, or leads cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance business objectives, such as cost-management and operational efficiency.

• Manages moderately complex supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis and management & logistics support within the business unit.
• Drives the analysis conducted for backlog management of field upgrades.
• Monitors key metrics, creates relevant reporting metrics, and reviews information for continuous improvement.
• Contributes to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing recommendations.
• Communicates requirements to the global business unit planning teams.

• Supports and drives efficiency and effectiveness of kitting operations, including inventory management, staging, and material handling processes, quality, and logistics


Education & Experience Recommended
• Preferred but not required, bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

The pay range for this role is $73,800 to $107,000 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
