Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, working hours 7.00am - 3.00pm. flexible with start time, latest 8.30am
Salary: £29,000 per annum,

The Process Engineering Technician role supports process development work within the Refining Function of the UK Hub, undertaking hands-on technical activities including testing, calibration and data collection.This role is suited to individuals with a science-based educational background and provides an opportunity to develop practical engineering experience.

Operate in line with Imerys ESH and Quality policies and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Carry out calibrations for process control instrumentation as directed by Site Captains.
Conduct routine Legionella testing at refining sites.
Support site management and operators with process projects, modifications and improvement tasks.
Assist with laboratory, pilot-scale and production plant experiments.
Compile accurate results, prepare brief technical reports and contribute to technical meetings.
Travel to other Imerys sites within Cornwall when required.

Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) in a science or engineering subject with interest in process engineering.
Comfortable working in a hands-on technical environment, following procedures accurately.
Good IT skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets for data recording and analysis.
Able to work safely, take initiative and manage tasks independently.
Flexible and willing to travel to other Imerys sites within Cornwall.
Full, valid driving licence.
