DO SOMETHING AMAZING EVERY DAY – What you will do every day
As a Head of E-Commerce, you will lead and develop the online business strategy within the country while ensuring alignment with market needs, customer expectations, and brand standards. Your role will be diverse, strategic, and highly impactful. Key responsibilities include:
E-Commerce Strategy: Define and implement local e-commerce strategies to drive business growth and market performance.
Sales & Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs, analyse sales performance, and identify opportunities to maximise results.
Omnichannel Development: Strengthen the synergy between online and physical stores to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Operational Excellence: Oversee operational processes related to logistics, transport, and customer experience while driving continuous improvements.
Commercial & Market Analysis: Provide strategic feedback on stock management, customer behaviour, and market trends to support decision-making.
Customer Experience Leadership: Develop initiatives that enhance the online shopping journey and improve customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in close alignment with the Head of Zara, the Country Director, and HQ stakeholders to ensure consistency in strategy and business objectives.
Marketing & Communication Coordination: Support the planning and execution of local digital campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Strategic Planning: Use data and market insights to support business decisions and optimise brand performance within the country.
Sustainability & Innovation: Contribute to the company’s sustainability vision and support innovative solutions that improve business impact and customer engagement.

WHAT YOU BRING
This role suits someone with a strong strategic mindset and a passion for digital business and customer experience. You are analytical, commercially aware, and confident working with performance indicators and market data.
You know how to balance operational excellence with innovation and are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership style empowers teams, encourages collaboration, and drives continuous improvement.
You bring strong organisational and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt strategies according to market needs while maintaining a customer-centric vision.
Language Skills: Fluent knowledge of Dutch and French is required. Knowledge of English and Spanish is considered a strong advantage.
