JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst will perform analyses for senior and executive management on an ad hoc and recurring basis.  These efforts should be performed with a creative and efficient approach and attention to detail.  This role is also responsible for the maintenance and improvement of Jabil's financial systems and toolsets and must interact with accountants at various levels and peers across multiple functions to achieve that goal.  All activities are undertaken with the objective to improve Jabil's operating results while maintaining the controls and discipline compliant with Jabil standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Prepare and analyze complex financial reports on a recurring and/or ad hoc basis
·          Review, analyze, approve, and prioritize requests for change to the financial reporting systems and toolsets
·          Support plants needing assistance or training on the use of financial systems and toolsets
·          Develop specifications for, and implement, improvements to financial systems and toolsets
·          Prioritize initiatives to modify and enhance financial systems and toolsets based on costs, benefits and overall impact to the company
·          Perform ad hoc analyses often with very specific deadlines
·          Responsible for managing user requests for change to the financial systems and toolsets of the company
·          Analysis of these requests, due diligence into the necessity of the request and development of alternatives are all required to adequately prioritize and facilitate improvement to the systems and toolsets
·          Other duties may be assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Role Summary

We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to support financial performance management with a strong focus on WI (Weekly Indicator) review and actual reporting. This role is responsible for preparing financial reports, supporting review meetings, and ensuring accurate data allocation and integrity in FP&A systems (Prism).
The position offers good exposure to month‑end processes, performance analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration in a multinational manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

WI (Weekly Indicator) Reporting

  • Prepare WI review files accurately and on time.
  • Support WI review meetings, including data preparation, follow‑up tracking, and updates.
  • Monitor key financial indicators and identify major movements or exceptions.

Actual Reporting & Month‑End Close

  • Prepare monthly actual financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Support actualization activities, ensuring consistency with accounting results.
  • Assist with variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Ensure timely submission of actual data in line with reporting requirements.

FP&A System & Allocation Support (Prism)

  • Process cost allocations, accruals, and adjustments in Prism.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and system checks.
  • Support maintenance of reporting structures and data accuracy in FP&A systems.

Analysis & Ad‑hoc Support

  • Provide basic financial analysis and explanations for performance fluctuations.
  • Support ad‑hoc analysis and reporting requests from FP&A Manager.
  • Assist in preparation of management reports and presentations.

Process & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, finance policies, and standard procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in reporting and FP&A processes.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or finance reporting roles.
  • Experience in a multinational company is preferred.
  • Manufacturing or industrial finance experience is a plus.
  • Experience with FP&A systems or planning tools (Prism preferred).
  • Fluent in English and Chinese is highly preferrable

Skills

  • Solid understanding of financial statements and month‑end close processes.
  • Strong Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g. SAP) is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail and strong data accuracy mindset.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work cross‑functionally.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese is highly preferrable
