Shift Operations & Leadership: Review previous shift reports, conduct beginning-of-shift briefings, assign personnel to routes and equipment, deliver safety briefings, and submit shift reports to management within 30 minutes of shift start.

Active Floor Management: Run the floor throughout the entire shift by flexing employees to address hot spots and absences, deploying emergency response cleanups via radio, and filling in operational gaps as needed while maintaining constant communication with Lead Supervisor and Manager.

Quality Assurance & Auditing: Audit cleaning routes throughout the shift using Corrigo to assess employee cleaning and sanitizing procedures, spot check PPE compliance, ensure pre and post-operation equipment checks are completed, and validate adherence to Task Instruction Sheets (TIS) standards.

Training & Development: Train all employees on proper chemical usage, PPE requirements, equipment operation, basic preventive maintenance, Lock-Out safety procedures, and general housekeeping programs while building rapport with area Maintenance Engineers and plant leadership.

Safety & Compliance Management: Report incidents and hazards to JLL and Safety leadership, ensure 100% awareness of Health and Safety policies, maintain zero recordable injuries, perform timely safety incident reporting, and ensure environmental compliance including OSHA, HAZMAT, and ISO standards.

Resource & Program Management: Monitor supplies usage and report ordering needs, develop plans for compression work and shutdowns, oversee the recycling program to maximize cardboard baling and eliminate pallets in compactors, coordinate employee PTO scheduling, and submit comprehensive End of Shift reports with pass-down information.

Performance Management: Supervise cleaning staff performance against cleanliness standards and behavioral expectations, establish and enforce cleaning procedures, control and monitor cleaning material usage to minimize waste, and manage the CBA represented grievance and discipline process.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous management or supervisory experience in a facilities, janitorial, or manufacturing environment

• Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced manufacturing operations with dynamic priorities and immediate response requirements

• Experience working in a unionized environment, including knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor relations
