Senior General Manager, Integrated Facilities & Property Management
What this job involves:
As a Senior General Manager at JLL, you'll serve as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing either a large, complex premier asset or multiple properties within a campus setting that function both as client facilities and as Class A commercial assets. In this role, you'll provide focused leadership and expertise to ensure exceptional service delivery within a defined portfolio segment while being accountable for achieving financial results, operational excellence, and superior client and tenant satisfaction. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way - for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees, and you'll be at the forefront of this mission by implementing strategic initiatives that optimize both facility operations and asset value. You'll serve as a critical liaison between on-site operational teams and the Portfolio Manager, providing strategic guidance while maintaining direct involvement in day-to-day operations. This position requires a skilled leader who can manage complexity, drive performance at properties requiring enhanced oversight and coordination, and elevate operational performance at high-priority assets. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and you'll champion this principle by ensuring all contract deliverables are met or exceeded, including operational uptime, cost savings initiatives, energy consumption reduction, service improvements, and the implementation of best practices across your portfolio.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Develop and implement property-specific strategies that effectively address both facility operations and commercial property management goals to deliver superior asset performance
Create and execute comprehensive Management Plans that align with portfolio-wide objectives while providing strategic guidance to site teams within your assigned segment
Oversee property operations through regular inspections and performance reviews to ensure consistent quality and Class A standards are maintained across all facilities
Lead the preparation and implementation of annual budgets for revenue, operating expenses, and capital expenses while achieving financial targets including contractual savings goals
Maintain exceptional client and tenant relationships by serving as the primary senior-level contact for stakeholders and meeting regularly with key representatives to address issues and enhance satisfaction
Supervise and mentor General Managers and other key personnel by setting clear performance expectations, conducting evaluations, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
Provide oversight and coordination of significant construction projects, including review and approval of specifications and contractor deliverables
Implement innovative solutions and technology to enhance operational efficiency, pilot new initiatives, and champion sustainability programs including LEED certification efforts
Ensure full compliance and effective risk management across all functions while developing and maintaining emergency response and business continuity protocols
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 8-10 years of facility and/or property management experience
5+ years of experience managing teams in a complex commercial property environment
Demonstrated success managing large-scale or campus-style commercial properties
Experience with both operational management and financial oversight of significant real estate assets
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
Advanced operational knowledge of building systems and commercial property management
Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex budgets and P&L responsibility
Superior leadership abilities with demonstrated success developing high-performing teams
Preferred qualifications:
