Location: Zug, CH - Other J&J location can be considered

Division/Department: Med Tech SC Transformation

Scope: Global

The JJMT Transformation function is responsible for designing and realizing the future-state supply chain network for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This function includes oversight of consolidation and rationalization actions for the global distribution network, a strategic shift toward an asset-light model, and the build-out of new, future-looking logistics capabilities including partner management, network design, systems strategy, and defining the transition standards required to sustain performance in the future state. The team operates centrally, working in close partnership with regional Deliver teams across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and North America.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

As a member of the Transformation function, this role supports the development and deployment of 3PL Engagement and Segmentation capabilities, with a primary focus on building and maintaining the Fit-for-Purpose (FFP) segmentation model, defining engagement models by partner segment, and enabling structured governance across the 3PL portfolio. The role contributes to the design and deployment of account plans, governance cadence standards, and hypercare constructs, while enabling regional teams to adopt and apply these capabilities. The position works in close partnership with Warehousing Procurement, Operations, and regional Deliver teams to ensure engagement intensity is aligned to partner criticality, risks and contract lifecycle management.

RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Essential Functions)

  • Build and maintain the Fit-for-Purpose (FFP) segmentation model for the global 3PL portfolio, including model design, data inputs, scoring methodology, and periodic refresh cadence in line with the defined process steps (Segment, Determine Engagement, Deploy Model, FFP Governance, Trigger Re-assessment)

  • Develop and maintain the segmentation scoring framework, incorporating site criticality ratings, risk assessments, operational performance, and financial materiality inputs from Operations, Procurement (Source), EQ, EHS, and Finance

  • Define engagement models by partner segment, including the intensity, frequency, and format of partner interactions aligned to segmentation outputs (e.g., operational reviews for standard partners, strategic Top-to-Tops for critical partners)

  • Design and deploy account plan templates and governance cadence standards (MBR, QBR, T2T) for each partner segment, supporting consistent application across regions and alignment with contractual commitments

  • Support the definition and maintenance of the hypercare construct for underperforming or transitioning partners, including entry and exit criteria, escalation paths, and remediation tracking

  • Coordinate with Warehousing Procurement to ensure segmentation and engagement model outputs support sourcing decisions, contract renewals, and commercial negotiations

  • Partner with the Performance Management capability area to connect segmentation-driven engagement activities to cost gap modeling, KPI tracking, and performance analytics

  • Train and support regional Deliver teams and Virtual Management Teams (VMTs) on segmentation methodology, engagement model application, and governance cadence execution

  • Support the digitization and automation of the segmentation model, including requirements definition for data feeds, front-end tooling, and integration with enterprise data platforms

  • Provide reporting and decision support to the Logistics Partner Management Lead and the broader Transformation PMO on segmentation status, engagement compliance, and partner risk

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Education and/or additional training:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required

  • A Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field is preferred

Experience and functional competencies:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or partner / supplier relationship management, with exposure to warehousing or 3PL environments

  • Experience in developing and applying partner segmentation, supplier tiering, or relationship management frameworks in a multi-site logistics context

  • Familiarity with structured governance cadences (MBRs, QBRs, T2Ts) and performance management disciplines, including KPI definition, scorecard design, and escalation management

  • Ability to work in a global, matrix organization: strong communication and presentation skills; ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and collaborate with people from different functions and regions

  • Experience supporting account planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination across Operations, Procurement, and partner organizations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into segmentation frameworks, engagement recommendations, and actionable reporting

  • Experience supporting or leading digitization or process automation initiatives (e.g., data integration, front-end tooling, workflow automation) is a plus
