Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Spain., the #1 company in the Spanish pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a Finance Analyst - FP&A to join our Controlling / Business Unit Finance team in Madrid.

We are a high-performing team of finance professionals focused on business partnering, supporting commercial business units, and delivering strong technical financial expertise. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to strategic decision-making while building a strong foundation in finance.

About the Role

As a Finance Analyst - FP&A, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through financial insights and analysis. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to both operational excellence and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to local functions, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making
• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly reports (sales, OPEX, brand spend, structural costs)
• Support accurate month-end closing in collaboration with the Accounting team
• Assist with operating procedures, compliance, and internal audit requirements
• Identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities across processes
• Provide financial insights to support growth, profitability, and compliance
• Contribute to ongoing projects and collaborate with internal and external finance stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar finance/analyst role
• Experience using digital tools (AI, Power BI) and financial systems

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€34,700.00 - €55,430.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees' and companies' performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
