As the CA&C Associate, you will be doing the following:
- Support to develop and implement internal communications strategy by utilizing key communication tools, as well as corporate events, including, but not limited to, Workplace, inside publications, and Business TV. Ensure communication strategies and programs are aligned with corporate values as well as the market's commercial strategy.
- Establish and implement employee engagement strategies, working together with People and Culture function and other related functions through which JTI's values, corporate culture, key issues and strategic messages are effectively communicated to internal audiences in a factual and reasonable manner. The incumbent must ensure internal communication needs are considered in all CA&C priority strategies
- Study the needs of local community and develop/deliver a community relations and sustainable corporate philanthropy strategy to address those needs. Work with community leaders, beneficiary organizations NGO's and manage the programs to achieve shared goals. Ensure the strategies and programs are in compliance with JTI Corporate Philanthropy policy and budget guidelines as well as the markets plans. Leverage these initiatives internally and externally, where possible.
- Develop engaging media articles and support the CA&C Manager to implement effective media strategies. Oversee CA&C campaigns across diverse platforms (digital, social, print), monitor performance metrics, and contribute to the creation of comprehensive media plans. Ensure media monitoring, nurture and foster strong relationships with media outlets.
- Provide comprehensive support for the planning and execution of corporate events, encompassing tasks such as event artwork design and production, vendor communication, site setup and on-site support, budget tracking, post-event evaluation, and other CA&C administrative responsibilities.
What does success in this role look like?
Success in this role is delivering clear, consistent, and engaging communications that keep employees informed, connected, and motivated using the right channels (for example Workplace, internal publications, Business TV) and ensuring messaging is aligned with JTI values and the market’s commercial strategy. Strong partnership with the People and Culture function and other key teams results in an effective employee engagement plan that measurably improves participation, understanding of priorities, and culture connection.
It also building and executing community relations and corporate philanthropy programmes that are compliant with our Corporate Philanthropy policy and budget guidelines, address real local needs, and strengthen trust with community leaders and beneficiary organisations. Externally, success is reflected in well-managed media relations and campaigns, high-quality content, accurate monitoring, strong media relationships, and effective agency/vendor management supporting a stronger corporate reputation. Finally, corporate events are delivered smoothly end-to-end (planning, creative/artwork, vendors, budget tracking, on-site execution, evaluation), with stakeholders experiencing a professional, well-organised CA&C function.
Who are we looking for?
- A bachelor's degree Media, Public Policy, Social Science, Law or other related fields
- Minimum 3 year experience handling similar role with multinational/FMCG exposure
- Good records in developing and implementing effective communications strategies
- Fluency in English and Khmer (both written and spoken); Good at MS. Office; Skillful in MS. Power Point; Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus
- - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, influential, strong leadership, teamwork qualities, public speaking and event management skills
- A clear demonstration of experience, successes/achievements in managing events/projects
- Creative; fast-learning characteristics; quickly adopted to different working environments
- Work records with PR agencies, media campaign, or delivery of related services dealing with tobacco issues is preferred
