As a member of the Outbound Logistics Team, you support our Retail Stores delivery by partnering with DC teams, Trade teams and transportation vendors to meet their specific requirements. This role is responsible for ensuring that all movement of product is performed to schedule. They provide updates and solutions to Stores, Store Ops, SSC regarding timely product delivery, shipment accuracy, and cost control. They coordinate with cross-functional teams inside and outside our company to successfully meet by whens, SLA's, and department expectations. They implement tactical operational strategies, course corrects for planned and unforeseen events and provide timely communication to teams.
Based in Singapore, reporting to Asia Outbound Logistics Manager who is stationed in Hong Kong.
- Monitors the transportation flow of all Retail Orders from the SG Distribution Center to Stores in South East Asia.
- Monitor DC ship dates and transit time of all Retail orders on a daily basis.
- Prepare necessary shipping documents in time to support outbound shipments, DC transfers and store pullback shipments.
- Prepare regular performance reports to support a better vendor management.
- Work with internal partners and vendors to identify actions to improve our vendor performance. Ensure actions are implemented successfully.
- Support the Retail Operations team and Retail Stores in all Special Projects & Logistical related matters; New Store Openings, Transfers & Returns.
- Support the logistics arrangement for stores pullback, stores outbound and DC transfer.
- Audit and submit logistics vendor invoice to Account Payable team.
- Prepare monthly accruals for the logistics spent.
- Coordinate and manage monthly/quarterly performance meetings with LSPs.
- Support outbound volume forecasts to carriers for space reservation.
- Acts as the subject matter expert when it comes to vendor KPIs related to outbound shipping.
- Regularly review KPIs to ensure metrics meet Lulu standards.
- Any adhoc tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
- At least 4 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain field Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in handling bonded shipments is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office platform (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Effectively works independently and with minimal direction.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A keen eye for details and a drive to resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to analyze and recommend warehouse and transportation performance enhancements and/or cost improvements.
