Senior Commercial Manager - Utilities

The Senior Commercial Performance Manager provides alliance‑wide leadership on performance assurance, cost control and reporting across the IMR WR Alliance, delivering a single, trusted view of commercial and operational performance, strengthening governance, transparency and decision‑making, and enabling successful AMP8 outcomes through consistent standards and collaboration.

Working collaboratively with Anglian Water and Alliance partners - including the NEC ECC Project Manager, AWS Commercial Performance Manager, Programme Delivery Manager, and Delivery Assurance Manager - the role supports the achievement of required outputs, outcomes, and efficiencies under AMP8. 

You’ll be responsible for:

• Establishing a single, assured alliance‑wide performance truth.
• Managing commercial governance, controls, reporting and targets.
• Ensuring consistency across cost, forecasting and change.
• Providing clear leadership to regional and central commercial teams.
• Aligning delivery with Anglian Water frameworks.
• Driving insight, continuous improvement and value.
• Championing proactive risk and opportunity management.
• Embedding safety first and a zero‑accident culture.
