We are seeking a talented individual to join our Affinity - Entertainment and Leisure team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Adelaide OR Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role is for an early career broker who is looking to improve their skill set across a range of insurance and non-insurance products for a variety of industries within entertainment and leisure. The candidate is required to be an organized self-starter who is motivated to proactively manage interactions with our clients as part of a team and work to strengthen and grow account relationships.
We will count on you to:
Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to these needs
Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client's needs as required
Process billing requests and gather information for quotes
Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations
Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control, and other necessary reporting over client portfolio
Recognize new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act as appropriate on them in a timely manner
Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate
What you need to have:
Experience within the Insurance industry
Good customer service and interpersonal skills
Clear and effective communication skills
Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team
Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to recognize and solve problems and think outside the square
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
