We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Tech at Marsh Tech. This role will be based in Noida/Gurugram This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Associate Director - Delivery Manager Front End  Development UI/UX 

We will count on you to:

As a Delivery Manager / Squad Lead with a UI/UX focus, you will lead an agile squad responsible for delivering an exceptional user-centered digital design system. You will bridge the gap between product teams, UI/UX designers, marketing, and technical squads to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality, secure, and innovative software solutions that delight users and drive business value.

You will be a key player in Agile@Scale transformation, fostering a culture of agility, continuous improvement, and collaboration across distributed teams. Your expertise in UI/UX will ensure that user experience is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle, from concept through to production.

What you need to have: 

  • Lead one or more agile squads (5-10 people) focused on UI/UX-driven product delivery, ensuring smooth and efficient processes from requirements gathering to production release.

  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver user-centric features that align with business goals.

  • Champion agile delivery best practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Spotify model).

  • Manage squad capacity and resource allocation, working with internal and external teams to ensure the right skills are available.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure governance and metrics tracking are in place.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing time to market, product quality, and user satisfaction.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for your squads, removing blockers and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

  • Integrate UI/UX research and design feedback into the development process to ensure products meet accessibility, usability, and aesthetic standards.

  • Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance UI/UX capabilities and overall product innovation.

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to squad members and junior delivery leads, promoting T-shaped skills development.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align delivery with strategic objectives and contribute to organizational Agile transformation.

  • Manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Oversee product lifecycle considerations including technical debt, security, and modernization from a UI/UX perspective.

What makes you stand out?

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Agile Pod Lead, or Squad Lead in a technology environment with a strong UI/UX focus.

  • Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, design thinking, user research methodologies, and accessibility standards.

  • Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Spotify, Scrum@Scale).

  • Experience managing distributed and remote teams across multiple time zones.

  • Solid technical understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture, test engineering, DevOps, and security best practices.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Planview, and design collaboration platforms (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).

  • Experience integrating AI or automation tools to improve delivery efficiency and product innovation is a plus.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage effectively with technical teams and senior business leaders.

  • Metrics-driven mindset with experience using KPIs to measure delivery performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex challenges and deliver elegant solutions.

  • Financial acumen to manage delivery budgets, resource costs, and infrastructure spend.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certifications such as ICP-ACC (Agile Coaching), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master.

  • Background in software development or engineering, ideally with exposure to front-end technologies and UI frameworks.

  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or risk management sectors.

  • Knowledge of site reliability engineering (SRE) practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.

  • Prior involvement in Agile organizational transformation at scale.

  • Passion for user experience innovation and emerging UI/UX trends.
