Specialist - Insurance Operations

What do we expect from you?

Ensure the timely and accurate production/processing of

documentation, including:

  • Drafts of policy wordings and endorsements;
  • Renewal reports and insurance manuals;
  • Questionnaires to assess coverage needs;
  • Invoices and related documentation;
  • Quotations and placing slips;
  • Premium calculations and adjustments;
  • Complex and/or confidential documentation;
  • Information and materials for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetings;
  • Keep records updated in the systems (and follow up on pending/outstanding documentation);
  • Manage and prioritize your workload to meet SLA, KPI, and Quality objectives;
  • Strictly comply with the Quality practices, internal policies, systems, and procedures of the company;
  • Maintain an understanding of the core aspects of insurance and the applicable legislation/regulation;
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understanding the client's business needs and insurance requirements;
  • Collaborate with Senior Operations Services Executives and Team;
  • Leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational processes;
  • Perform ad-hoc functions of Step-up Team Leader when necessary to support the Operations team.

Technical and behavioral skills required:

Techniques:

  • Previous experience in reinsurance operations / broking support /ideally with exposure to policy documentation and account renewals;
  • Practical knowledge of documentation and processes: endorsements, billing, quoting/placement, slips, premium calculations/adjustments, and operational controls;
  • Management of systems and updating records with a high level of accuracy; advanced data processing and documentation;
  • Basic understanding of insurance products and related regulatory/legislative framework (according to line of business).

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands while meeting deadlines (SLA/KPI);
  • Clear communication and team collaboration;
