The AVP is a key member of the 1st Line of Defense (1LOD) within Digital Economy Risk, providing embedded risk expertise across AI and Digital Finance. The role is responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring critical risks associated with the use of AI, blockchain technologies, cyber risks, and emerging technologies. The AVP partners with business units, technology teams, shared services, and the 2nd Line of Defense (2LOD) to ensure risks are proactively assessed, controls are effectively implemented and maintained, and business decisions consistently align with governance standards and Moody’s Ratings risk policies.

Digital Economy team at Moody’s Ratings focuses on assessing and managing risks emerging from digital finance, artificial intelligence, and cyber threats, which are reshaping global financial systems and credit markets. The team provides thought leadership and analytical insights into how technologies like blockchain, AI, and digital assets impact operational resilience.
