Digital Manufacturing /MES Intern - Part time for a student

Digital manufacturing team (DMMD)

Join a global digital manufacturing team working at the intersection of IT and pharmaceutical production.

You'll be part of a global team collaborating across Europe, US, and Asia.

About the role

You will support the rollout and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES - PAS‑X) used across multiple manufacturing sites worldwide.

Your responsibilities

You will be gradually onboarded and supported, starting with less complex tasks and building expertise over time:

• Understand the full system lifecycle, including change management, testing, and validation and contribute to the implementation of approved system changes in site MES environments
• Explore integration with enterprise systems such as SAP, shopfloor systems, and interfaces
• Assist with configuration updates and data entry under guidance
• Help maintain documentation related to MES changes and configurations
• Participate in testing activities (e.g., executing test scripts)
• Support preparation of training materials and knowledge documentation
• Integration with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, interfaces, shopfloor systems)

As you grow in the role

• Contribute to site migration activities and rollout support
• Assist in troubleshooting basic issues and analyzing system behavior
• Support integration-related topics (interfaces, data flows)
• Collaborate with global teams on small improvement initiatives
• Gain exposure to operational support processes such as incident and change management
