Role OverviewWe are looking for a
Senior Business Development Executive to drive new commercial partnerships with enterprise organisations. This role is focused on identifying, engaging, and closing high-value clients across recruitment, employer branding, DEI training, and event sponsorship.
You will be a confident, consultative sales professional with a strong track record in B2B sales, ideally within media, recruitment, events, SaaS, or DEI-related services.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development- Identify and prospect new enterprise clients across priority sectors
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, pitching, negotiation, and closing
- Develop tailored commercial proposals aligned to client DEI and talent goals
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (HR, DEI, Talent, Marketing)
Revenue Growth- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Maximise opportunities across memberships, job advertising, training, and events
- Upsell and cross-sell myGwork's full product portfolio
Pipeline & CRM Management- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Forecast revenue and manage a healthy, qualified pipeline
- Track performance and report on activity and results
Collaboration- Work closely with Marketing, Events, and Customer Success teams
- Support sponsorship and partnership sales for WorkPride, WorkFair, and other flagship events
- Contribute to sales strategy and market positioning

Skills and abilities
Essential- 3-6+ years' experience in B2B sales or business development
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confident engaging with senior decision-makers
- Commercially driven with a consultative sales approach
- Highly organised with strong pipeline management skills
- Passion for inclusion, diversity, and social impact
Desirable- Experience in recruitment, media, SaaS, events, or DEI services
- Knowledge of HR, Talent, or Employer Branding markets
- Experience selling to enterprise clients
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
