Sales Engineer is responsible for generating leads, presenting and demonstrating products, negotiating with clients, and achieving sales targets. The role bridges technical understanding with client-facing sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and follow up on sales leads
- Conduct product presentations and demos
- Negotiate with clients and close deals
- Prepare and approve sales quotations
- Coordinate across divisions to ensure order fulfillment and payment
- Report regularly (daily, weekly, monthly) on sales activity and performance
- Maintain client records and attend internal sales meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any major)
- 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally in industrial products
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proactive, reliable, and ethical
- Strong presentation and customer service abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
