Associate Director, CMPS Product, Virtual Asset & Securities Trading

Key Responsibilities

This role is essential for the development and management of Equity and Virtual Asset Products for Retail Banking clients, supporting overall business propositions and investment product strategies.

• Define and execute the product strategy for Virtual Assets and Securities Trading in alignment with the Bank's Wealth Management objectives for self-directed investors.
• Implement product strategies to achieve key performance indicators such as revenue, cost, assets under management, customer growth, and product penetration.
• Stay informed on market trends and emerging opportunities to maintain the business's competitive edge.
• Oversee the development and full lifecycle management of Equities and Virtual Assets solutions tailored for Retail Banking clients, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies, enhancing investment offerings, and maintaining governance and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and lead business initiatives to meet targets in revenue, assets under management, customer acquisition, and product penetration.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate the bank's market insights, offers, and updates to frontline teams and clients.
• Prepare the product selling process and platform to optimize customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with Technology and Operations teams to improve trading platform stability, reduce latency, and enhance user experience to support high-volume, self-service trading.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a master's or advanced degree is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, demonstrating a successful history of leading product initiatives.
• Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
