Job Summary
- Achieve agreed individual financial and non-financial targets by acquiring, growing, and retaining profitable Commercial Banking customers within acceptable risk parameters.
- Contribute toward achieving the team's overall target and delivering optimal portfolio return.
- Collaborate and build effective partnerships with other Relationship Managers, team leaders, segment heads, colleagues in Customer Due Diligence teams, and partners in risk, compliance, support functions, and product.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve individual financial and non-financial targets while contributing to the team's overall deliverables
- Effectively generate new business by identifying prospects and converting them in line with the Bank's appetite
- Strategically formulate account plans by providing client needs-based solutions, structuring appropriate credit facilities, and executing various banking transactions
- Proactively build trusted client relationships and maintain a portfolio of active and growing customers
- Market and sell a broad range of products including trade services, cash management, treasury, and investment
- Prepare credit proposals and loan applications for customers; conduct annual reviews on a timely basis
- Collaborate closely with the credit team to ensure quality lending decisions and strict adherence to prevailing EAR/credit policy
- Implement agreed business plans to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Generate creative ideas for customer acquisition and product/service offerings
- Regularly provide feedback to the Team Leader and peers on new and anticipated financial and service needs and recommend process improvements for new products
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in client engagement, internal stakeholder management, and overall business conduct
Requirement
- Strong track record in Corporate Banking Relationship Management from a reputable international bank
- Exceptional business acumen with strong credit sense and familiar with all types of corporate banking products
- Bachelor degree or above, HKSI licensed
- Languages: Cantonese, Mandarin and English fluency are required.
