Summary
The Supply Chian Finance (SCF) portfolio, encompassing Receivables Purchase, Supplier Finance, and Distributor Finance (Open Account products). The SCF Product Manager is responsible for managing the in-country product development, lifecycle and commercialisation of the in-country SCF product. This role supports the execution of in-county product strategy, ensuring the alignment with market needs, regulatory requirements and business growth. The Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, coverage, operations, legal, technology, compliance, regional leads and group stakeholders to deliver innovative and competitive solutions to CIB clients
Job Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Regional and Group Product leads to articulate and implement key product initiatives
- Collaborate with Sales and Coverage teams to identify customer needs and develop compelling SCF value propositions across diverse CIB client segments.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for product innovation.
- Work with group/regional product team to define product roadmaps and prioritize development initiatives.
- Responsible for the country's SCF portfolio Profit & Loss (P&L).
- Manage and monitor product performance, ensuring alignment with revenue, profitability, Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) and client satisfaction goals.
- Provide forecasts, manage the pipeline, and resolve any revenue gaps to ensure growth targets are met.
- Work jointly with Sales and Coverage to improve product offerings resulting in increased revenue and utilization, improve efficiency and reduce cost.
- Manage product updates, customization and rationalization based on client feedback, market demand and regulatory changes.
- Partner with operations, technology and product development team to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery and scalability of products.
- Support launches of SCF product enhancements, new products/variations, trade digitalization initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years' relevant banking experience in product management, product development, trade finance.
- Hands on knowledge of working capital solutions, including Receivables Purchase, Supplier Finance, risk distribution, etc, and their operational, legal and compliance aspects.
- Excellent communications (both written and verbal), presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Solid understanding of product governance credit risk management principles, including effective mitigants and control frameworks.
- Organised and attention to details.
