MIS System Development and Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

Communicate and coordinate with business units to gather and clarify requirements for related systems and applications.

Perform application system analysis and maintenance and produce documentation for all stages of the system development lifecycle (including requirements interviews, analysis and design, development, testing, and go‑live).

Handle relevant operations and maintenance tasks and collaborate with other departments as needed.

Ensure proper execution of system software and hardware upgrades and vulnerability patching.

Maintain system and keep system operation normally and troubleshoot/resolve production issues.

Be responsible for quality control across all phases of system analysis and development.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of banking data flows and data analysis.

Good communication skills with end users and team members.

Strong English communication skills; proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

• Awareness and understanding of the MIS report system strategy and model appropriate to the role.

Business
• Develop and maintain MIS report system to support business needs

Processes
• Responsible for executing and supervising the development process.

People & Talent

• Lead through example and build the appropriate MIS report system. Work in collaboration with risk and control partners.

• Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of MIS report system and ensure that users are satisfied with the functionality.

• Employ, engage and retain high quality MIS report system, with succession planning for critical updates.

• Responsibility to review security/regulatory plans.

• Set and monitor mechanism for the performance and satisfaction from users.

Risk Management

• The ability to interpret the Group's technology information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of SQL database development, data warehouse modeling and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL BI tools, including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and SQL Server T SQL.

• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET, and able to develop applications using .NET C# and PowerShell.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of banking data flows and data analysis.
