This role is a frontline role within the Bank's Data Breach Response Team (DBRT), reporting to the VP, Data Breach Response (DBR) and is responsible for the end-to-end management of data breach incidents impacting the Bank. The Bank defines a data breach incident as an incident that impacts the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information. Such an incident is characterised by the occurrence of unauthorised access to or disclosure of information, the accidental or unlawful destruction or alteration of information, the loss of information (including the loss of availability), or any of these factors in combination.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong competence in information security management, governance, and stakeholder relations, a keen awareness of operations management and the drive to continuously improve service delivery, the aptitude to utilise reporting and analytics capabilities to their fullest extent to extract operational insights, and a passion for sharing their knowledge with others in the spirit of making the Bank a safer place to work by carrying out the specific responsibilities listed below.
The DBRT is a business function operating within the Trust, Privacy, and Security (TPS) division of the Information and Cyber Security (ICS) business unit.
Education
At a minimum, a bachelor's degree (Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Arts (BA)) or other qualification equivalent to Level 6 of the UK Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) or a Bologna FQ-EHEA First Cycle Degree. A major or specialisation in any of the following subject areas is preferred:
