WHAT WILL YOU DO?
 

Southeast Asia (“SEA”) as a growth engine for the company, has over 4000 employees, supporting more than 20 divisions or business units cross all functions from commercial to manufacturing, Finance, Legal, IT, etc.
 

This business-critical role will report to SEA Commercial Finance Senior Manager who is located in Singapore. Key responsibilities are delivering on standard FP&A workstreams including monthly financial close, commercial forecast, monthly / quarterly business reviews, annual operating plan, long terms strategic plan, and other ad-hoc analyses or projects. The role will be actively involved in planning, reporting and consolidation processes, and will have great deal of visibility with senior leadership.

Support SEA consolidated financial reporting and analysis                 

  • Support standard FP&A consolidation workstream including but not limited to monthly close, commercial forecast, landing estimates, monthly and quarterly business review package.
  • Support annual operating plan ("AOP") and long term strategic plan ("STRAP") cycles that spans over extended periods months within each fiscal year.
  • Collaborate with regional and country commercial finance team to ensure key deliverables and timelines for business reviews / submissions are met.
  • Support quality country-level financial analysis and commentaries for deliverables.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive process improvements and / or cost savings.
  • Utilize Hyperion Planning for data loads during forecast and planning cycles, collaborate to ensure tie-out across divisions and countries.
  • Drive practical process improvement across the team for better control and productivity. Share best practices.
  • Support special projects and ad-hoc finance initiatives as required.

Strong ability to work across the matrix structure

  • Possess good communication skills, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and navigating through complex matrix environment, across functions, divisions and geographies.
  • Work autonomously in fast-paced environment, with good personal efficiency to prioritize and initiate escalation or follow-up where needed.
  • Uphold compliance and keep commercial teams aware / in line with company and accounting guidelines.
  • Participate actively and be the voice of Finance, supporting commercial Sales and collaborating across functions to drive business results, while ensuring compliance.

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
  • At least 6-8 years of progressive experience in MNC commercial finance or FP&A.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
  • Applied knowledge of reporting or business systems (e.g. Hyperion Planning, SmartView, SFDC, Power BI) would be an advantage.
  • Team player, hands-on and organized, with ability to maintain information accuracy and meet deadlines with little supervision.
  • Keen learner with an inquisitive mind and an aptitude for learning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with good interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure, in a complex matrix environment.
