Position Summary

The Commercial Excellence Sr. Manager – BPG, LPG is a senior leadership role responsible for driving Commercial Excellence initiatives across these businesses in China.

This role partners closely with division leadership to strengthen sales effectiveness, improve commercial governance, and scale consistent go-to-market capabilities. The position plays a critical role in aligning sales strategy, performance management, and operational execution to support sustainable business growth.

The role will also work closely with cross-functional partners to build scalable commercial frameworks and enable data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Excellence Strategy & Business Partnering

  • Partner with Business Heads to define and implement division-level/ group-level Commercial Excellence strategy.
  • Translate business priorities into scalable commercial frameworks and execution roadmaps.
  • Align AOT allocation, product bag setup, quota frameworks, and incentive governance with GTM strategy and sales capacity.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support annual planning and growth acceleration.

Sales Effectiveness Leadership

Lead the Sales Effectiveness team with accountability for:

  • AOT allocation, SIP and sales incentive design governance
  • Forecasting discipline, system and reporting governance
  • Sales performance measurement and productivity analysis

Channel & GTM Alignment

  • Partner with Channel excellence teams to ensure alignment between direct and distribution sales models.
  • Support channel strategy execution and governance across divisions.
  • Drive consistency in coverage models and commercial processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer coverage and commercial efficiency.

Process Excellence

  • Lead commercial process design and optimization initiatives.
  • Embed Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies into commercial governance.
  • Build scalable and repeatable commercial processes to enhance efficiency and execution consistency.
  • Drive adoption of commercial tools and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Effectiveness, or Commercial Strategy.
  • Proven leadership in complex, matrix environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and stakeholder influence skills.
