Your New Role…
This position supports the planning and execution of consumer and trade marketing initiatives for priority DC Publishing projects. This role partners closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to support the development of compelling marketing materials, execute integrated campaign components, and manage assets that drive awareness, engagement, and sales. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials, effective event execution, and consistent communication of publishing priorities.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Creates and manages marketing assets and materials across campaign lifecycle.

  • Manages assigned marketing projects, ensuring materials are reviewed, approved, and delivered on time to stakeholders.

  • Executes and manages marketing materials and campaign components for priority projects, including print and digital advertising, promotional items, video content, and title information sheets.

  • Manages planning, scheduling, and production coordination for promotional video content, including liaising with external agencies and tracking project progress.

  • Manages asset routing, approvals, and distribution workflows to ensure efficient delivery of promotional materials.

  • Partners with the Social Strategy & Digital Content team to execute marketing initiatives and ensure coordination across channels for priority releases.

  • Contributes to the development of marketing plans and manages distribution of updates and post-mortems to key stakeholders, including Sales, Editorial, Production, and distribution teams.

  • Supports execution of consumer events and trade shows (in-person and virtual), ensuring marketing materials and logistics are aligned with campaign objectives and priority projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience…

Work Experience 

  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in marketing, sales, or a related field required.

  • Experience in publishing, comics, and/or book retail preferred.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and in writing) with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization, as well as with external stakeholders (such as vendors and partners.)

  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑based environment and partner across departments.

  • Must have the ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively under time constraints.

  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to details and handle confidential material with discretion.

  • Must have the ability to apply campaign learnings and performance insights to inform ongoing marketing execution.

  • Must have excellent project management skills.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office software (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud software (such as Acrobat, Photoshop, and InDesign) required.

  • Knowledge of publishing/comic book industry preferred.

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to travel as needed approximately 5% of the time.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $52,503.00 - $97,506.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
