Your New Role

The Senior Analyst, Planning – Ad Sales is responsible for developing, pricing, and executing integrated, multi-platform media plans across digital, CTV/streaming, paid social, and traditional channels. This role serves as a strategic partner to Ad Sales and Account Executives, ensuring proposals are insight-driven, commercially viable, and aligned with client objectives.

This position requires a high level of independence, ownership of complex plans, mentorship of junior team members, and active contribution to the evolution of media products, planning tools, and go-to-market strategies.

Your Role Accountabilities

Media Strategy & Planning (30%)

  • Develop integrated media plans across Digital, CTV/Streaming, Linear TV, Paid Social, and Audience Extension channels.
  • Translate client briefs into clear, actionable media strategies, defining channel roles, formats, KPIs, and budget allocation.
  • Recommend innovative solutions including programmatic, addressable, and data-driven targeting strategies.
  • Ensure plans align with commercial objectives, inventory availability, and pricing guidelines.

Digital & Data Expertise (20%)

  • Build and optimize media plans using key performance metrics (CPM, CPV, CPC, reach, frequency, completion rates).
  • Apply programmatic knowledge, including PMP vs. open exchange, first-party data usage, contextual targeting, and measurement frameworks.
  • Analyze campaign performance to generate insights and inform future planning.
  • Collaborate with BI, Ad Operations, and Digital teams to ensure accurate execution, tracking, and reporting.

Sales & Commercial Support (25%)

  • Partner closely with Account Executives on pre-sales ideation, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and sales-ready media plans.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and packaging strategies.
  • Act as a trusted strategic voice in both internal and client-facing discussions.

Execution, Coordination & Campaign Management (15%)

  • Manage timelines, revisions, and approvals across multiple stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Ad Operations to ensure seamless campaign setup and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of plans, pricing, and inventory usage.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns to ensure performance and delivery goals are met.

Leadership, Mentorship & Team Contribution (10%)

  • Mentor junior planners and support quality assurance across media plans.
  • Contribute to the development of standardized tools, templates, and processes.
  • Share industry trends, best practices, and digital innovations with the broader team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4–7 years of experience in media planning, preferably within an agency or ad sales environment.
  • Strong experience in digital and cross-platform campaign planning, including CTV/Streaming.
  • Solid understanding of digital media KPIs, measurement, and optimization strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales teams in fast-paced, revenue-driven environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including media math and data analysis.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).
