The Role:
The Retoucher will be working with the production team delivering world class marketing campaigns for a blue-chip technology account. He/She will be responsible for creating assets/fonts that will be used in print and digital media formats. You will need to be able to work in a pressured environment whilst delivering work to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow and adhere to very structured Photoshop layered files
- Immerse yourself in the client brand and tone of voice
- Working to briefs, you will need to demonstrate clear brand understanding and deliver consistent, quality artwork that is on brand
- Communicate in an articulate manner with all stakeholders and share any issues to ensure consistency
- Respond to information requests from your Line Manager/Team Leader
- Ensure your Team Leader is aware of any issues that are likely to increase studio time
- Manage your workload and flag any downtime to your Team Leader
- Ensure that any non-adherence to the processes or issues with files is reported in line with the process in place
- Meet and engage with clients where required
Requirements:
- A Minimum of 8 years of experience in a retouching role preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Photoshop – the ability to work with Shapes and Smart Objects
- Thorough knowledge in producing images used in digital production
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, and font editing and production software e.g. FontLab, GlyphsApp, Microsoft VOLT, Adobe FDK, and other industry-standard applications
- Good awareness of current and emerging technologies
- A disciplined work attitude to complete any given task within a reasonable timeframe
- Strong attention to detail
- Be able to operate independently or as part of a team
