The Role
The role is part of the Health & Benefits line of business reporting to the Head of Benefits Advisory
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the employee benefits market; develop new solutions and plans to maintain market competitiveness.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of WTW H&B products, solutions, and technology within the Country, and know what is available within the Region and Globally.
Develop and maintain an understanding of WTW’s Lines of Business (LOBs) outside Health & Benefits, and initiate cross-LOB sales and collaboration.
Have a clear understanding of the Global, Regional, and Local Value Propositions of the H&B business.
Provide support to the Business Development Team including but not limited to:
Performance Objectives:
Financial
Identify and target appropriate client segmentation to develop sales value proposition; adopt solution-based sales approach to win new clients
Build relationships with internal and external sources to maximize the penetration of key target accounts
Achieve clear goals of business development activities and revenue generation
Clients
Ensure that the local market is aware of WTW’s intellectual capital and use the knowledge to engage with Clients and Prospects
Ensure a thorough and deep understanding of a Prospect through research and a needs analysis with the correct points of contact
Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on market trends and regulatory changes impacting benefits programs
Excellence
Implement quality assurance frameworks for all deliverables to maintain consistency and compliance
Champion digital transformation by leveraging technology for efficiency.
Consistently perform technical review of work products
Ensure timely and complete Compliance and Delivery of projects based on agreed timelines with the client
Consistently use Sales Tools mandated by the region; completely understand and maximize the use of these
People
Foster a culture of collaboration across Health & Benefits and other Lines of Business
Ensure self-learning through WTW internal and external publications, learning sites, and attendance at learning sessions
Mentor and coach team members to build technical expertise and consultative selling skills
Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives such as internal webinars and best-practice documentation
The Requirements
5+ years of experience in the consulting space.
If candidate has no experience in consulting, then preference is given to those that have experience in analytical/technical work and/or those with college degrees in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, and related degrees.
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative skills.
Polished and well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn WTW’s capabilities, strategic plans, and business objectives.
A strong commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct.
Flexible, adaptable, with strong interpersonal and team skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize to successfully meet deadlines.
