Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity in the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry to support the assigned Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation in process automation including DCS and SIS.

The work model for the role is: hybrid: office and business travel

This role is contributing to the Energy Industry Division, Process Automation Business Area in China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications in Oil, Gas and Chemical segment.
• Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
• Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.

Qualifications for the role

• Ability to demonstrate your experience in technical proposal in pharmaceutical segments and deep understanding of qualification and validation required in the industry for Quality assurance and compliance. You have at least 15 years of experience in Oil, Gas and Chemical segment.
• Have a demonstrated track record in pharmaceutical segment, understand the production process, customer needes and market trend.
• You are at ease communicating in English writing and oral communication
• Creative to find proper solution for specific projects.
• Ability to adapt to frequent business travel
