Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.


This role is contributing to the EL smart power business in Xiamen China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Assist sales team by providing pre-sales technical support
• Clarify technical issues during project design. Continuously communicate with customers based on project progress and input documents to understand customer needs, determine the best technical solution, create equipment drawings, and obtain customer approval
• Release drawings and material lists for production, and create technical specifications, coordinate and resolve issues that arise during production
• Continuously follow up on projects and maintain good communication with customers, assist after-sales engineers in solving on-site issues
• Prepare qualification test procedures, implement tests and follow up, evaluate the testing data, and organize to analyze and improve, prepare summary reports, etc.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software such as EPLAN/Auto CAD
• Fluent in both Chinese and English in written and oral communication
• Good communication skills, adaptability, and team spirit.
• Familiar with AI applications and has good practical case experience
• Applicants with work experience in the design of low-voltage switchgear assemblies are preferred
