What happens when the installations that keep factories, infrastructure and industries running need maintenance?

That’s where ABB comes in.

We take care of the service of low- and medium-voltage installations that power crucial industrial processes in Belgium and Luxembourg. From heavy industry to the energy sector: our engineers work behind the scenes on the systems that keep the world moving.

As a Field Service Engineer Electrification, you make sure these installations continue to operate safely and reliably. You perform maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and commission installations at industrial customer sites.

Customers rely on you to keep their electrical installations running safely and reliably. You work on complex low- and medium-voltage installations in industrial environments. Safety, precision and technical expertise are always central.

You usually work independently on location in Belgium and Luxembourg, but you stay connected with colleagues and support teams whenever needed.

You maintain what keeps the industrial world running.

  • Performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and commissioning low- and medium-voltage installations and power circuit breakers

  • Working on heavy electrical systems (e.g., systems between 400V and 36,000V and 600 amperes) and carrying out technical modifications to improve performance

  • Testing and inspecting switchgear to ensure safe operation

  • Preparing intervention, testing and maintenance reports and documenting protocols correctly

  • Supporting customers with reliable service, always following strict safety procedures for medium-voltage installations

You bring strong technical foundations, an eye for detail, and the sense of responsibility needed to work confidently with high‑power electrical installations. You enjoy working independently but are also a strong team player.

You also have:

  • A degree in Electricity, Electromechanics or Energy Technology (A2, bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience)

  • Experience with industrial electrical installations or power systems, or the motivation to deepen your expertise

  • Fluency in Dutch and French, and the ability to communicate in English

  • Willingness to travel to customers in Belgium and Luxembourg; a valid driver’s license

You run what runs the world. And in return, you receive strong support so you can take on this mission with confidence.

We offer:

  • An attractive salary

  • Electric company car with European charging card

  • Meal vouchers

  • 32 days of leave (20 statutory + 12 ADV days)

  • Hospitalization, group and pension insurance

  • Flexible working arrangements: possibility to travel directly from home to the customer

In ABB’s Service Division, you help customers improve the availability, reliability and lifetime of their electrical installations. In doing so, we also contribute to more sustainable and efficient industrial processes.

At ABB, we believe innovation happens when different ideas, backgrounds and experiences come together. That’s why we welcome curious, creative and driven people who want to help build the technology of tomorrow.
