Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the HR Operations team supporting Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. You will be accountable for delivering high-quality HR services, driving operational excellence, and ensuring an outstanding employee and stakeholder experience across the assigned scope.

As Team Lead, you will oversee daily operations, workforce planning, service delivery performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performing team culture. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, managing escalations, and ensuring compliance with globally defined standards, local regulations, and internal controls.

This is a temporary role for covering maternity leave.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the HR Services, Employee Life Cycle, Payroll and Compensation based in Tallinn.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading and developing a team of HR specialists by providing clear direction, coaching, performance management and continuous development support.
• Managing day-to-day HR operations across Employee Lifecycle, Compensation & Performance and Payroll processes while ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
• Monitoring and managing workloads, queues, SLAs, KPIs, and backlog activities to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of service targets.
• Driving workforce planning, prioritization and cross-functional collaboration to support business continuity and operational effectiveness.
• Managing escalations, resolving operational issues and proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Driving customer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality, customer-centric HR support and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.
• Leading continuous improvement, automation and transformation initiatives to enhance productivity, service quality, and operational excellence.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and SOX standards while maintaining accurate process documentation and governance.
• Supporting change management initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications for the role

• Proven leadership experience, ideally within Human Resources, HR Operations or a Shared Services environment in an international organization.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, service delivery, customer support, and/or payroll-related processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing SLAs, KPIs, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire diverse teams.
• Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and changing business needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience driving change, process improvements and operational transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels and within matrix organizations.
• Fluent in English and Swedish or Norwegian.
