Internship in the Bid & Proposal Department (Robotics)

This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

Engineering Manager

 

You will support the team in engineering design, simulations, and preparation of technical concepts and offers, from the initial customer inquiry through to the final solution.

Location: Warszawa

Responsibilities

• Analysis of customer inquiries and requirements

• Support in preparing 2D/3D layouts

• Creating simulations in RobotStudio

• Participation in developing functional specifications for robotic production lines

• Supporting the Bid & Proposal Engineer in preparing technical offers

• Cooperation with SCM, suppliers, and teams such as Commissioning and Project Management

• Occasional travel to customer sites and installations

• Work mainly based in the office and workshop

Requirements

• Students of: Automation and Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics

• Knowledge of MS Office and 2D/3D CAD tools (SolidWorks is an advantage)

• Basic knowledge of RobotStudio

• Basic knowledge of English

• Accuracy, responsibility, and openness to teamwork
