Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will help run what runs the world by working with Installation Products within ABB Electrification — a business focused on electrical installation, protection, cable management and accessories used in industrial, commercial and transport applications.

As Product Specialist – Installation Products in Spain, you will be responsible for the product marketing, technical promotion and specification of installation-focused product ranges, working closely with Sales teams, engineering firms and installers.

The position contributes to ABB Electrification – Installation Products, covering the following product families:

  • Surge Protection Devices (SPDs – Furse)

  • Cable glands (SIB)

  • Cable management and protection systems (PMA)

  • Cable ties and fastening solutions (Ty‑Rap)

Scope & stakeholders

  • Geographic scope: País Vasco, Aragón, Comunidad Valenciana and Murcia.

  • Main stakeholders: Engineering & consulting firms, Sales teams, OEMs.

  • Work model: #LI-hybrid

Your key responsibilities

  • Define and implement the local product marketing strategy (Products, Price, Place, Promotion).

  • Create and communicate clear value propositions for installation and protection solutions, adapted to engineering and project environments.

  • Support product specification activities with engineering companies, consultants and OEMs.

  • Actively promote and develop strategic product ranges (Furse SPDs, SIB, Ty‑Rap, PMA).

  • Deliver product training and technical-commercial support to Sales teams and customers.

  • Serve as a technical reference for installation-related products within the organization.

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (electrical specialization), or Advanced Vocational Training with experience in electrical installations or projects.

  • Experience or strong interest in electrical installation products, accessories, protection and cable management.

  • Ability to translate installation-focused technical products into clear and compelling value propositions.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with engineering firms and sales teams.

  • Commercial mindset combined with technical credibility.

  • Fluent Spanish and good level of English.
