Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: 100% onsite full time

This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Implement and monitor Lean tools such as 5S, time studies, and line balancing.
• Support the development and optimization of production layouts.
• Create and maintain visual management and operational management tools.
• Coordinate Kaizen teams and continuous improvement workshops.
• Monitor production output and analyze HR/HR performance data to identifytop offenders and improvement opportunities.
• Support new product launch projects and production ramp-up activities.
• Provide support to the maintenance department to improve equipment efficiency and operational performance.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Active Student from engineering careers (graduation 2027)
• Conversational english
• Full time availability (monday to friday)
• Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Lean Manufacturing
• Proactive, problem solving, time management
