Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in challenging industrial automation projects. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Automation Process Industries division in Zagreb, Croatia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Executing different engineering tasks in electrification and automation projects (e.g. preparing technical specifications, supporting hardware design, PLC and HMI programming)

  • Providing technical support for testing and installation.

  • Commissioning of automation systems (PLC, HMI, field devices).

  • Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.

  • Supporting design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines, as per given tasks.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are skilled in working with control systems, PLC programming and HMI

  • You hold a degree in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronic, robotic or similar area.

  • Ability to demonstrate your experience from 2 to 5 years in automation systems (PLC, HMI, field devices…)

  • Understanding of how to read electrical schematics and knowledge to use electrical measuring devices (e.g. multimeter),

  • You are at ease communicating in English language, good written and spoken communication skills

  • You hold valid driving license category B.

  • What we consider as a plus: experience in metals industry (rolling mills, processing lines, casting lines), knowledge of electrical design (autocad, eplan), knowledge of MS windows administration, virtualization, networking and cyber security.
