Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small, low‑complexity Electrification Service projects, supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of their installed electrical assets and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery.

You will ensure that all service project activities are carried out in accordance with ABB procedures, EHS requirements, industry standards, contractual obligations, and customer specifications. By applying basic project planning and scheduling techniques, you will proactively manage risks related to site execution, outages, materials, and resource availability.

The work model for the role is: {hybrid}

This role is contributing to Electrification Service business in Japan.

Key stakeholders include customers, field service engineers, service operations, project controls, supply chain, sales, and finance.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading and coordinating the project team assigned to Electrification Service projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and service delivery standards.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient utilization of service resources, and project financial performance, including cost control and margin protection.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks and opportunities, with particular focus on installed base condition, site constraints, outages, and customer operational requirements.
• Driving formal project acceptance, contract close‑out, and customer acknowledgment, ensuring projects are completed in line with service agreements and contractual commitments.

You will join a collaborative, safety‑driven, and customer‑focused Electrification Service team, where knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous improvement are core ways of working.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in and enjoy working with Electrification Service products and solutions, including elements of the installed base such as low‑ and medium‑voltage equipment, protection and control systems, power distribution components, circuit breakers, switchgear, and related service offerings.
• You have {5} years of experience in service project execution, project coordination, electrical services, or a related technical environment.
  (Experience working as a Service Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Junior Project Manager within Electrification or similar service‑based environments is advantageous.)
• You possess working knowledge of service and project tools (e.g. SAP, service management systems, basic scheduling or planning tools).
• You demonstrate strong customer focus, problem‑solving capability, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance technical, commercial, and operational priorities.
• You hold a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on experience with electrical service projects.
• You are comfortable communicating ideally in Japanese and English both verbally and in writing, including technical and customer‑facing discussions.

本ポジションでは、小規模かつ低複雑度のエレクトリフィケーション・サービス案件のプロジェクト遂行をリードしていただきます。お客様の**既設電気設備（インストールドベース）**のライフサイクル全体を通じて、安全で、法令を遵守し、高品質かつ効率的なサービス提供を実現する役割です。

ABBの業務プロセス、EHS（環境・安全衛生）要件、業界標準、契約条件、ならびに顧客仕様に従い、すべてのサービスプロジェクト活動を管理します。
基本的なプロジェクト計画およびスケジューリング手法を活用し、現場作業、停電対応、資材、リソース確保に関わるリスクを先行的に管理します。

勤務形態：ハイブリッド（オンサイト勤務を含む）

本ポジションは、日本におけるABBエレクトリフィケーション・サービス事業の成功に直接貢献します。
主なステークホルダーは、顧客、フィールドサービスエンジニア、サービスオペレーション、プロジェクト管理、サプライチェーン、営業、ファイナンス部門です。

主な責任範囲

• エレクトリフィケーション・サービス案件におけるプロジェクトチームのリードおよび調整
• 安全・品質・サービス提供基準に基づくプロジェクト実行および進捗管理
• サービスリソースの効率的な活用および**プロジェクト収益性（コスト管理・マージン確保）**の管理
• 設備状態、現場制約、停電計画、顧客の運用要件を考慮したプロジェクトリスクおよび機会の特定・評価・管理
• 契約条件に基づくプロジェクト完了、正式な引き渡し、契約クローズアウトおよび顧客承認の推進

知識共有、説明責任、継続的改善がチーム文化の中心です。

応募資格

• エレクトリフィケーション・サービス製品およびソリューションに関する高い知識・実務経験
  （例：低圧・中圧機器、保護・制御システム、配電機器、遮断器、スイッチギアおよび関連サービス）
• 5年以上のサービスプロジェクト実行、プロジェクトコーディネーション、電気関連サービス、または類似する技術的環境での実務経験
  （エレクトリフィケーション分野でのサービスエンジニア、プロジェクトコーディネーター、ジュニアプロジェクトマネージャーとしての経験があれば尚可）
• SAP、サービス管理システム、基本的な計画／スケジューリングツールの実務使用経験
• 高い顧客志向、問題解決能力、優れたステークホルダーマネジメントスキルを有し、技術・商業・運用面のバランスを取れる方
• 電気工学、工学技術、プロジェクトマネジメント、または関連分野の学位・ディプロマ、もしくは同等の実務経験
• 日本語および英語での円滑なコミュニケーション能力（口頭・文書、技術的・顧客対応を含む）
