Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.
- Overseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed.
- Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with the management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.
- Leading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations.
Qualifications for the role - Deep understanding of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases from concept to commissioning
- Ability to develop realistic construction programs, critical path analysis, and integrate discipline-wise deliverables
- Contract management, budget preparation, cost forecasting, and financial reconciliation
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and rigorous scope control through change management processes
- Commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) standards with maritime construction expertise
- Risk identification, assessment, mitigation strategies using Monte Carlo simulations and risk matrices
- Subcontractor engagement, vendor selection, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Expertise in FIDIC standards, commercial terms, and contract demarcation
- Establishing and tracking project and portfolio-level KPIs for schedule, cost, quality, and risk
- Using analytics and dashboards for real-time performance monitoring and proactive interventions
- You have +8 years of experience in project management on large-scale EPC maritime/infrastructure projects
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office suite, and project dashboard tools. SAP.
- You are at ease communicating in advance conversational english
- You hold current Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or similar.
