Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Services Division in Cheonan, South Korea.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations.
• Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements.
• Overseeing and leading the local Project Execution team, ensuring that ABB policies are consistently followed.
• Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with the management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfillment and approving any project deviations.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management, project operations, project engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in project management and project operations, including project execution and performance management.
• Strong understanding of project execution processes, contract requirements, and project performance management.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in people management and team leadership.
• Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and fluency in Korean.
