Your role and responsibilities:
In this demanding sales function, you will be responsible for market development at switchgear manufacturers in German-speaking Switzerland. You will identify market potential, develop customer relationships in a targeted manner and successfully position our products and systems in the field of electrical power distribution in the market. In doing so, you will work closely with internal departments, channel partners and external stakeholders and make a direct contribution to the sustainable growth of the business.

You will be mainly accountable for:
You will be responsible for achieving sales, growth and profitability targets and actively develop sales in your divisions. In doing so, you will identify new market opportunities, build a sustainable sales pipeline in Salesforce and derive targeted measures for business development.
You will accompany challenging customer projects from opportunity to successful completion and develop tailor-made technical and commercial solutions together with internal departments and channel partners.
You coordinate all relevant stakeholders – from planners to switchgear manufacturers and internal contact persons – and ensure a professional, efficient sales process.
You cultivate long-term customer relationships, identify needs at an early stage and convince with professional advice, confident sales negotiations and a first-class customer experience throughout the entire sales cycle.
You proactively identify projects via databases, project platforms and tender portals, follow up on offers in a structured manner and ensure technical and commercial accuracy in coordination with the bidding department. In doing so, you will communicate bindingly on delivery times, payment terms and contractual conditions.
Qualifications for the role:
Several years of successful experience in technical or project sales, ideally in the areas of switchgear, power distribution or building technology.
Sound technical education with relevant further training or studies, preferably in the field of electrical engineering and power distribution.
Confident management of complex sales processes as well as convincing communication with customers at different decision-making levels.
Strong in building and sustainably maintaining long-term client relationships with a focus on partnership-based consulting and business development.
Strategic consulting expertise beyond products, especially on business models, market positioning and differentiation features.
Structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high level of prioritization competence as well as confident handling of dynamic requirements and pressure situations.
Team-oriented, initiative personality with professional communication, cross-departmental cooperation and active knowledge exchange.
