Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage local service operations with accountability for day-to-day execution, satisfying customer expectations through efficient operational performance. Each day, you will run lean and faultless operations across the extended value chain, optimizing cost, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering operational excellence. You will also showcase your experience by creating, implementing, and reviewing the operations strategy for your area of responsibility in alignment with the overall service business strategy.

 

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

 

This role is contributing to the Electrification - Service in Greece. Main stakeholders are customers, service teams, sales and account management teams, supply chain partners, project managers, and business leadership.

 

You will be mainly accountable for:

 

• Ensuring customer focus, understanding the need to act quickly, and building a culture of care
• Enhancing customer loyalty through high-quality service and ongoing efforts to improve satisfaction.
• Managing the execution of the local operations strategy and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
• Managing the end-to-end service value chain, ensuring operational efficiency from order intake through service delivery.
• Monitoring operational performance through KPIs, taking corrective actions, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring effective resource planning and balancing customer demand with operational capacity.
• Identifying customer improvement opportunities and partnering with account teams to support business growth.
• Promoting operational excellence through quality assurance, quality control, and deployment of ABB's quality standards and processes.
• Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), integrity, and all applicable business and regulatory requirements.
• Guiding, motivating, coaching, and developing direct and indirect reports to build an effective organization.

Qualifications for the role

• You have 3 -7 years of experience in service operations management and enjoy working in a customer-centric industrial or technology-driven environment.
• You have experience in leading service operations, field service organizations, project execution, or operational teams. Previous experience with Electrification Systems Portfolio (MV/LV) will be highly appreciated
• You possess solid knowledge of operational performance management, resource planning, continuous improvement methodologies, and customer service excellence.
• You have experience working with ERP and service management systems and are proficient in data-driven decision-making using operational KPIs.
• You demonstrate solid problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills.
• You have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• You are proficient in communicating in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• You are willing to travel as required by the business.
