As an Enterprise Architect within the Finance New Horizon 2030 transformation program, you will have the unique opportunity to influence how Finance capabilities are designed, integrated, and delivered across Allianz Group. This is a highly visible role where you will work at the intersection of business and technology, helping to define the target architecture for one of Allianz's most strategic transformation initiatives.

 

You will collaborate with senior business leaders, architects, and delivery teams across multiple countries to drive architectural decisions that will impact the future Finance landscape of the Group. From modern cloud platforms and data-driven solutions to regulatory and reporting capabilities, you will play a key role in building a scalable, resilient, and future-ready ecosystem.

What you do

• Define and drive the target enterprise architecture for the Finance New Horizon 2030 transformation program, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group business and technology strategy.
• Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps covering key Finance capabilities, including General Ledger, Consolidation, Planning & Forecasting, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Establish architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and long-term sustainability across Finance solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to translate strategic objectives into effective architectural solutions.
• Guide and review solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, cloud, data, and integration standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and industry trends to support innovation and modernization within the Finance landscape.
• Drive simplification, harmonization, and optimization of applications, data flows, and integration patterns across Allianz entities.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet performance, resilience, security, and regulatory requirements.

 

What you bring 

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Domain Architecture, or Solution Architecture within large and complex organizations.
• Strong expertise in Finance systems and processes, including areas such as Accounting, Reporting, Controlling, Consolidation, or Planning & Forecasting.
• Proven experience defining and governing enterprise-scale architectures and supporting large transformation initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, modern integration approaches, cloud platforms, and data architecture principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences.
• Experience working in international, cross-functional environments and collaborating with multiple delivery teams and business units.
• A strategic mindset combined with strong analytical capabilities, a collaborative approach, and a passion for driving innovation and change.

 

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
• Exposure to global transformation programs involving multiple entities and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and hybrid operating models.
• Additional European languages alongside fluent English.
