Join us as a key driver of AIS's growth through the broker channel. In this role, you will shape market strategy, strengthen high value intermediary relationships, and lead commercial execution to expand our presence and performance across targeted segments. This is an opportunity for an experienced broker facing business development leader who thrives in a dynamic, relationship driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate company growth goals into actionable annual and quarterly sales plans, backed by strong market scans and competitor insights. 
  • Identify high potential segments, prioritize key broker accounts, and manage a focused new business and renewal pipeline to maximize conversion and retention.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key brokers through regular touchpoints, strategic discussions, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Act as the primary liaison with Underwriting, Claims, Ops, and other internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and enhance partner experience.
  • Provide quotations for new and renewal business within authorized limits and support commercial case discussions with underwriters.
  • Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities across AIS's GI portfolio, including specialized products such as IPMI.
  • Support product and campaign development by channeling broker insights, coordinating idea flow with underwriting, and contributing to new segment or product initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by escalating partner feedback, supporting process optimization, and contributing to digital enhancements in sales workflows.
  • Oversee broker administration, onboarding, due diligence tracking, and overall governance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high service standards.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Certifications in BCP, CGI, PGI, and HI.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the General Insurance industry.
  • Proven track record in managing end to end marketing or business development processes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High drive, resilience, and commitment to achieving sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility quickly and influence partners.
  • Solid understanding of General Insurance products.
  • Candidates with strong broker management or broker partnership experience are highly encouraged to apply.
  • AI-Skills e.g. ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot an advantage.
