About the Job

As a Solution Architect at Allianz Technology, you will play a key role in shaping end‑to‑end IT solutions that support Allianz's digital transformation and long‑term business goals.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, define robust architectures, and guide delivery teams from design to implementation. Your role will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on involvement, ensuring that solutions are secure, high‑performing, and future‑ready. You will also contribute to the evolution of our technology landscape, including cloud‑native and AI‑enabled architectures, helping Allianz innovate at scale while maintaining the highest quality standards.

 

What you do

• Design and develop comprehensive IT solutions that meet business needs and align with Allianz's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives.
• Create architectural designs and documentation, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Lead the integration of various systems and technologies, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance solution capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in architecture and design.
• Participate in the development of IT strategies and roadmaps to support business growth.
• Design system architectures that integrate LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI components

 

What you bring 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in IT architecture and design.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong with DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
• Experience on mobile application development with technologies such as Flutter is a plus.
