DESCRIPTION:

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

We are looking for an experienced AWS Enterprise Sales Account Manager focused on large, FSI strategic accounts.

The candidate should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against an account coverage plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets. The candidate should possess both a sales and technical background that enables him or her to drive engagement at the CXO at LoB level as well as with CIO, software developers, IT architects, and other customer executives.
Successful candidates will have executive level experience in leading, defining, designing and deploying enterprise level strategic solutions in the FSI domain

In this role, the candidate will work with a small set of large FSI customers, where a prescriptive and in-depth approach is required. The ability to understand complex business requirements and provide tailored solutions is crucial.

The AWS FSI Enterprise Account Manager will be a strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments and has very strong communication, writing and presentation skills. Additionally, the ability to work with extended teams and coordinate their efforts is essential for success in this role.

Success in this role means: C-Level engagement, exceeding revenue targets through strategic account growth, building a robust pipeline of opportunities, developing and executing detailed go-to-market strategies, establishing AWS as the preferred cloud provider for key accounts, creating repeatable solutions for FSI challenges.

Key job responsibilities
- You will drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets and will accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
- You will develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline including opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business in untapped customers
- You will manage numerous accounts concurrently through sales/metrics data analysis to help evolve your strategy and will act on the development of long-term strategic relationships with key FSI accounts
- You will create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS
- You will assist FSI customer in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services as well as best practices implementations
- You will work with partners to manage joint selling opportunities



About the team
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 8+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- MBA, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- Cloud Technology Certification
- Experience with AI/ML in FSI
- Knowledge of FSI actual challenges and opportunities: Customer Experience, OpenBanking, OpenFinance, Core Banking, Risk and Compliance and Related ISVs.
