You should be detail-oriented and comfortable performing both qualitative and quantitative analysis. You know and love working with business intelligence tools (excel, visualization tools, and SQL), and can effectively partner with business leaders to deep-dive complex business problems. This position will require working cross-functionally and with a diverse set of stakeholders.

As you further your career as a Business Analyst at Amazon, you will focus on improving corporate reporting frameworks and data visualization. You will analyze performance data, discover and solve real world problems and build metrics and business cases to improve decision making. We are focused on your success and want to build strong leaders within Amazon Transportation Services. You can expect to leverage your analytical skills and have full ownership of the projects you work on.

Key job responsibilities
- Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and collaborating with internal teams.
- Design and develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
- Taking ownership of reporting processes to ensure that each report is accurate and timely with a high degree of customer focus in resolving data discrepancies.
- Building and managing related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes.
- Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
- Generating complex queries to dive deep on process issues
- Innovating to improve customer experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Excel

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
