Business Intelligence Engineer II, MENA Product

DESCRIPTION:

Our team owns building products for the onsite shopping experience (CX) of MENA customers. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to lead the efforts to scientifically quantify the customer funnel, build entitlements, and automate the daily/weekly tracking of shopping events.

The leader in this role is the starting point of data-driven product roadmap creation, and is expected to apply rigorous analytical and statistical methods to demonstrate customer advocacy and develop a strong, evidence-based understanding of quantified customer behavior. This role demands the ability to translate complex data signals into actionable science-backed insights that drive product decisions.

This role partners with Product Managers, Tech, and Business teams across MENA and WW to establish feature value through experimentation and measurement frameworks. It is placed in a fast-paced, ambiguous space, which will require the candidate to work with scientific precision, speed, and depth ,all together. They will need to influence stakeholders with data, and lead communication with leaders backed by strong analytical narratives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
