In this Corporate Counsel role, you'll play a critical role in negotiating, drafting, and advising on complex legal matters that drive our technology and business forward.

Key job responsibilities
● Provide comprehensive legal support for manufacturing, procurement, and technology licensing initiatives globally
● Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements with precision and strategic insight
● Counsel business teams on intricate supply chain, intellectual property, and regulatory matters
● Proactively resolve legal challenges and manage potential pre-litigation disputes

A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of strategic legal counseling, contracts negotiation, and collaborative problem-solving. As Corporate Counsel, you'll engage with cross-functional teams, diving into fascinating legal challenges surrounding international consumer electronics manufacturing and supply chains as well as emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, ambient computing, and wearables and maturing areas like smart speakers, security cameras, tablets, TVs, and eReaders. Each day brings unique opportunities to provide nuanced legal guidance that supports Amazon's rapid innovation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of legal experience
- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Knowledge of manufacturing, international supply chain, and logistics

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
