EU VAT Analyst, Indirect Tax Planning

DESCRIPTION:

Amazon is looking for a VAT Analyst based in Warsaw to support VAT planning and compliance initiatives for both new initiatives and on-going business activities. Specifically this role will assist with VAT affairs for Amazon's Stores business in Poland while also supporting wider Pan-EU Stores Business projects. In this role, you'll work closely with local business partners and members of the tax team, delivering expert VAT technical advice to support our VAT legislative, compliance, and on-going tax controversy requirements.
The candidate must possess the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with key Amazon stakeholders.. Experience of Polish and EU VAT is important.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience tax advisory (excluding compliance)
- Experience in Polish and/or EU VAT law

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Relevant law degree

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher base salary, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.
